Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and implement backend systems in Typescript/Node as core work for the team.
  • •Design and build an ingestion pipeline for analytics/insights products (>99.99% uptime on Kafka, Clickhouse, Redis).
  • •Spike on CI/CD to improve stability and reliability.
  • •Build out durable/distributed cart/hosting for our ecommerce product.
  • •Deploy a multi-tenant Next.js app for shops in Cloudflare and mentor junior engineers on best practices.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of professional experience with production distributed systems and service-oriented architecture (SOA)
  • •Proficient in TypeScript; experience with Node.js; Python/Go/Java experience considered a plus
  • •Willingness to do full-stack work (including frontend) if needed
  • •Product and customer-focused mindset; ability to ship features rapidly
  • •Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices
