Key Responsibilities

  • •Publish in Tier-1 Venues: At the core of Protocol Learning are hard research problems. There are foundational papers up for grabs. Solve these problems, and publish.
  • •Advance Protocol Learning research problems and contribute to foundational papers and open publications.
  • •Collaborate within a remote, distributed team across Australia and the United States.
  • •Develop and evaluate ML models using PyTorch across multiple devices in a distributed setting.
  • •Contribute to cutting-edge AI and distributed systems research at the intersection of two rapidly evolving fields.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD in Machine Learning with publications in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR).
  • •Distributed ML experience: exposure to distributed training or federated learning.

  • •Proven track record publishing in Tier-1 venues.
  • •Bonus: Experience with large language models, post training, RL etc.
