Job Summary

Design, prototype, develop, and debug software for semiconductor equipment manufacturing components and devices. Build a manufacturing data and applications platform by establishing relational data models, ingestion/transformation pipelines, and stable integrations. Develop backend services and APIs for core business logic, plus user-facing applications on a modern manufacturing app platform. Ensure data quality, reliability, and operational excellence with monitoring, QA reports, and resilient pipelines, while maintaining clear documentation and runbooks.

Job Function: Software Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Design and evolve maintainable relational/structured data models for hierarchical manufacturing data, including ingestion and transformation processes.
•Build backend services implementing core business logic and APIs/endpoints, ensuring secure, performant, and scalable components with audit trails.
•Develop user-facing applications on a modern manufacturing app platform, integrating with backend services and refining UI/UX with manufacturing users.
•Implement data quality checks and resilience mechanisms (e.g., retries, fallback strategies, exception logging), and monitor performance, availability, and data freshness.
•Maintain technical documentation, participate in code reviews/testing, and produce QA summaries, operational guides, and runbooks for go-live readiness.

Key Requirements

•Track record building and maintaining in-house, multi-user, web-based applications for internal stakeholders.
•Strong programming fundamentals in at least one general-purpose language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#).
•Solid SQL skills and experience designing or maintaining relational databases.
•Experience developing APIs or backend services and integrating with external systems, databases, or APIs in production.
•UI/UX fundamentals and engineering hygiene (testing, Git, CI/CD, clean modular code) with ability to iterate and ship maintainable solutions.
