Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in preparing operational projects and the division’s work policies and procedures.
  • •Perform final review of audit procedures for accounting entries monthly, and audit implementation of posting and adjustments from other divisions with written approvals.
  • •Execute reconciliation procedures for bank statements and revenue/payment ledgers.
  • •Carry out monthly and annual financial closings for general and payment accounts according to Department of Finance schedules.
  • •Review financial parts of institutional contracts with relevant regulatory units and audit treasury cash, banks, revenues, deposits, and checks daily.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s / Bachelor’s / Advanced diploma in Accounting (or equivalent).
  • •Master’s qualification requires 3 years of accounting experience (or equivalent).
  • •Bachelor’s qualification requires 5 years of accounting experience (or equivalent).
  • •Advanced diploma requires 11 years of accounting experience (or equivalent).
  • •Knowledge and ability to conduct audits, reconciliations, and monthly/annual financial closings in line with Department of Finance timelines.
