Key Responsibilities

  • •Support relationship managers/global relationship managers in day-to-day coverage for a portfolio of banks (including correspondent banks) and public sector clients.
  • •Coordinate across HSBC’s network to deliver products and services, identifying opportunities and supporting conversion to executed outcomes.
  • •Plan and deliver high-profile client meetings, materials, and events that support business development and HSBC strategy.
  • •Assist with origination and execution across HSBC capabilities, partnering with product and risk stakeholders to balance risk and return and meet governance requirements.
  • •Act as a first line of defense for financial crime and relationship risk, ensuring AML/KYC compliance and maintaining internal control standards, including remediation of audit findings.

Key Requirements

  • •Proficient Spanish language skills.
  • •Analyst/Associate-level experience in banking or financial services, ideally with exposure to financial institutions and/or public sector clients across jurisdictions.
  • •Good understanding of financial markets and banking products such as cash management, custody, trade, lending, capital markets, and asset finance.
  • •Strong risk mindset with familiarity of credit fundamentals and financial crime expectations (AML/KYC).
  • •FINRA Series 7, 63, and 79 licenses are required (contingency period to obtain may be provided at manager’s discretion).
