Job Summary

Design, develop, and maintain secure Java/J2EE applications by applying enterprise security standards and best practices. Identify, analyze, and remediate application vulnerabilities (e.g., XSS, CSRF, IDOR, session-related issues), perform code reviews and security assessments, and collaborate with security teams to triage findings from scans, penetration tests, and audits. Secure RESTful APIs (including TPP/Open Banking integrations), configure web security controls, support releases and incident RCA, and document fixes and remediation steps in Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and maintain secure Java/J2EE applications aligned to enterprise security standards.
•Identify, analyze, and remediate application security vulnerabilities including XSS, CSRF, session fixation, IDOR, and path traversal.
•Perform code reviews and security assessments to detect insecure patterns, misconfigurations, and code smells.
•Collaborate with security teams to triage and resolve findings from vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and security audits.
•Implement and enforce web and API security controls (e.g., CSP headers, secure cookies, authentication/authorization) and support releases with production issue debugging and RCA.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development building and maintaining enterprise web applications.
•At least 3+ years of hands-on application security experience remediating vulnerabilities such as XSS, CSRF, IDOR, and session-related issues.
•Minimum 3+ years of web technology experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) with frameworks/libraries including jQuery, Axios, or Ext.js.
•At least 2+ years of secure coding experience covering input validation, output encoding, and authentication/authorization mechanisms.
•Minimum 2+ years securing RESTful APIs/web services and experience with application servers (Apache Tomcat, WebLogic, or JBoss), plus vulnerability management tools (e.g., Fortify, Checkmarx, Veracode).
