Key Responsibilities

•Lead a team of municipal engineering professionals delivering water, wastewater, stormwater, roadway, and public works projects across Fredericton and New Brunswick.
•Champion resource planning, recruitment, career development, and performance management to grow a resilient and engaged municipal practice.
•Drive business development initiatives, build trusted client partnerships, and elevate WSP’s market presence in the region.
•Guide project managers in proactively managing scope, schedule, financials, quality, and delivery using WSP’s project management tools.
•Oversee workload balancing and utilization, supporting inter‑office collaboration across Atlantic Canada.

Key Requirements

•A degree in Civil Engineering with P.Eng designation in New Brunswick.
•10 years of experience in municipal engineering projects.
•Experience delivering and leading municipal infrastructure projects such as water, wastewater, drainage systems, or transportation corridors.
•Strong familiarity with municipal clients, permitting processes, and infrastructure priorities within Atlantic Canada.
•Proven ability to mentor, develop, and motivate technical teams while fostering a collaborative culture.
•Business development experience with demonstrated success building client relationships and growing market share.
•Proficiency with design and modeling tools used in municipal engineering (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, hydrotechnical modeling).
