Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead pavement design and engineering for complex, high-profile aviation, ports and transport projects.
  • •Provide technical direction across pavement design, rehabilitation, materials, investigation, and construction methodologies.
  • •Review and approve pavement designs, calculations, specifications, reports, and technical documentation.
  • •Lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver practical, technically robust engineering solutions.
  • •Interpret investigation and testing data (including FWD, HWD, GPR, LWD, profiler, and surface friction) and translate it into engineering decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualified Civil Engineer with significant pavement engineering and pavement design experience.
  • •Ideally 15+ years within a consulting environment focused on pavement engineering.
  • •Chartered Engineer and/or RPEV accreditation, or working towards registration.
  • •Proven experience leading the design and delivery of major pavement projects across aviation, ports and/or transport infrastructure.
  • •Strong understanding of Australian pavement design standards, investigation techniques, and independent review of complex pavement designs.
