Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare, submit, and manage planning applications, coordinating supported technical and environmental inputs and liaising with key stakeholders.
  • •Undertake due diligence, site reviews, and pre-application discussions for major proposals to achieve deliverable outcomes.
  • •Provide technical planning advice so planning and project documentation meets regulatory standards and reflects current legislation, policy, and case law.
  • •Lead and support commercially competitive tender proposals and bids.
  • •Review and ensure quality and consistency of work while working within integrated multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience leading planning consents for major infrastructure projects under a range of consenting regimes, ideally in energy, transport, or rail.
  • •Strong ability to prioritise and manage a workload while working flexibly.
  • •Excellent knowledge of current and emerging planning legislation, with the ability to apply it in planning and project documentation.
  • •Experience working as part of integrated multi-disciplinary teams.
  • •Corporate member of the Irish Planning Institute (or Chartered Member of the RTPI) or equivalent, plus a full current driving license and access to transport.
