Key Responsibilities

  • •Improve and control current processes/products by supporting safety programs at Samsung Austin Semiconductor facilities.
  • •Anticipate, identify, and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices during task performance, and advise/educate others.
  • •Develop hazard control designs, methods, procedures, and programs; measure and evaluate hazard control effectiveness.
  • •Evaluate task performance for compliance with site and regulatory requirements; document and track safety program results.
  • •Conduct incident investigations and site inspections, determine root cause and corrective actions, and support implementation; perform audits and employee training.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, plus completion of an undergraduate-level course, research project, or internship involving Python automation and system modeling tools.
  • •Hands-on experience with Python scripts for automation and SolidWorks.
  • •Experience with Autodesk Inventor and LabVIEW for controls system design/graphing.
  • •Experience with MATLAB and Ansys CFD modeling of fluid flows and thermal systems.
  • •Knowledge of Ansys Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural analysis and static/dynamic system modeling.
