Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and manage the OCI platform, including integrations and configurations to keep the cloud environment stable and healthy.
  • •Plan for and respond to service outages using backup and recovery activities; execute backup and recovery support and data integrity checks.
  • •Perform DBA tasks such as database maintenance, backups/recovery, tablespace management, upgrades, cloning, and performance monitoring.
  • •Support Oracle ERP and application operations, including issue triage and support for workflows, embedded SQL, and concurrent requests; manage quarterly release schedules and patching.
  • •Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and IT teams to provide day-to-day status updates and maintenance support, working effectively across geographies and time zones.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Cloud Engineer managing OCI platforms.
  • •Experience executing Oracle Cloud upgrade cycles and reducing cutover downtime through process improvements.
  • •Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud OCI architecture, concurrent managers, workflows, and application infrastructure.
  • •Excellent knowledge of cloning, patching, backup, and recovery of ERP applications.
  • •Hands-on experience with ODI, FAW/ADW, performance tuning, SQL profiling, plus Unix shell scripting for Oracle ODA and OVM environments.
