Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families.
  • •Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences.
  • •Develop and make available informational financial materials to service members and families.
  • •Coordinate and deliver Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
  • •Utilize virtual counseling and other electronic modes of communication (web-based, secure chat, video conferencing) as authorized.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required; may consider an associate degree plus 4 years' experience or a high school diploma plus 6 years' experience in lieu of bachelor’s
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English; bilingual in English and Spanish if contract requires
  • •One of: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)
