Job Summary

Join the SRE Fleet team to maintain and improve the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of infrastructure powering Cisco’s global cloud platform. You’ll build automation solutions across thousands of machines, design deployment and testing pipelines, troubleshoot distributed systems, and help enable rapid, repeatable deployment of sovereign and purpose-built cloud environments. Work with engineering, product, and business partners across time zones to reduce operational overhead.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain automation solutions to improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency across global cloud environments.
•Design and enhance deployment pipelines, testing frameworks, and operational tooling to support platform growth.
•Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and distributed systems issues to ensure high availability and performance.
•Build automation enabling rapid and repeatable deployment of sovereign, regional, and purpose-built cloud environments.
•Partner across engineering, product management, and business teams to understand dependencies and deliver reliability improvements.

Key Requirements

•2+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering supporting cloud-based production environments.
•Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible.
•Program in Ruby and develop automated tests using RSpec (or comparable testing frameworks).
•Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems and distributed infrastructure environments.
•Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab CI.
