Job Summary

Join the Geotechnical & Tunneling Team to support geotechnical investigations and laboratory testing for soil and rock. You’ll conduct geotechnical analyses and design for tunnels, foundations, embankments/cuts, pavements, and earth retaining systems across transportation, buildings, and water projects. The role includes preparing geotechnical memoranda and design reports, creating drawings and specifications, and providing field geotechnical support during construction.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan, estimate, and conduct subsurface investigation and laboratory testing programs for soil and rock.
•Interact with regulatory agencies, subcontractors, drillers, and clients professionally.
•Perform geotechnical analyses and design for tunnels, shallow and deep foundations, embankments/cuts, pavements, and earth retaining systems.
•Prepare geotechnical memoranda, data and design reports, and produce design drawings and specifications.
•Provide geotechnical support during construction and perform additional responsibilities as needed.

Key Requirements

•1 to 3 years of geotechnical experience.
•Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a geotechnical engineering focus.
•Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification.
•Ability to make responsible and ethical decisions and adhere to company Code of Conduct and policies.
•Ability to learn new techniques, manage multiple priorities, work independently, and follow instructions and company policies.
