Key Responsibilities

  • •Achieve daily production goals under the Production Supervisor/Team Lead and perform duties across assigned production areas.
  • •Follow safety and housekeeping standards, report safety hazards, participate in safety programs, and complete required safety documentation and assessments.
  • •Ensure product quality through regular quality checks (line orders/spec sheets) and respond to quality issues by reporting out-of-spec product.
  • •Operate equipment safely during startups and changeovers, including extruder start-ups, threading/knifing out equipment, roll changes, and product changes.
  • •Provide solutions to difficult technical problems and supervise/lead hourly personnel when needed, including coordinating responses with QA and other operators.

Key Requirements

  • •Follow company policies for safety, quality, and attendance, including participating in safety programs and passing monthly assessments.
  • •Complete operator training and assessments, including Annual Operator Training.
  • •Cross-train and be competent in production areas including Twist-tie, Converting, and Roll Stock (with Remill operators as applicable).
  • •Perform startup and line operations such as extruder start-ups and threading equipment with film, ensuring correct product per line orders and spec sheets.
  • •Provide solutions to difficult production problems with limited guidance and lead/supervise hourly personnel as needed.
