Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee technical health and operational readiness of live event and broadcast production systems across production environments, ensuring compliance with standards and SLAs.
  • •Lead troubleshooting, repair coordination, preventative maintenance, and escalation management for production technologies and infrastructure.
  • •Support technical execution of onsite, hybrid, virtual, and broadcast-style events, partnering with client event teams to implement technical production strategies.
  • •Configure and support signal routing, streaming workflows, encoding systems, audio/video transport, and remote acquisition/contribution technologies for distributed events.
  • •Mentor technical staff and maintain documentation, operational checklists, and readiness standards; participate in post-event reviews and technical postmortems to drive continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Very good English and German language skills.
  • •7+ years of experience in event production, broadcast engineering, audio/visual support, video production, live streaming, or related technical environments.
  • •3+ years of experience supporting onsite, virtual, and hybrid live events.
  • •Hands-on troubleshooting of control room technologies (video switchers/routing, audio consoles, playback/graphics, streaming/encoding) and audio/video signal flow.
  • •Experience with LAN/WAN networking and IP-based media workflows, including troubleshooting latency, packet loss, bandwidth constraints, and multicast/unicast distribution; knowledge of streaming protocols and remote production tech (RTMP, SRT, NDI, SIP, WebRTC).
