Configure and support signal routing, streaming workflows, encoding, and remote contribution technologies, while coordinating repairs, firmware updates, and documentation. Mentor technical staff and partner with client teams to implement production strategies and optimization plans.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee technical health and operational readiness of live event and broadcast production systems across production environments, ensuring compliance with standards and SLAs.
•Lead troubleshooting, repair coordination, preventative maintenance, and escalation management for production technologies and infrastructure.
•Support technical execution of onsite, hybrid, virtual, and broadcast-style events, partnering with client event teams to implement technical production strategies.
•Configure and support signal routing, streaming workflows, encoding systems, audio/video transport, and remote acquisition/contribution technologies for distributed events.
•Mentor technical staff and maintain documentation, operational checklists, and readiness standards; participate in post-event reviews and technical postmortems to drive continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•Very good English and German language skills.
•7+ years of experience in event production, broadcast engineering, audio/visual support, video production, live streaming, or related technical environments.
•3+ years of experience supporting onsite, virtual, and hybrid live events.
•Hands-on troubleshooting of control room technologies (video switchers/routing, audio consoles, playback/graphics, streaming/encoding) and audio/video signal flow.
•Experience with LAN/WAN networking and IP-based media workflows, including troubleshooting latency, packet loss, bandwidth constraints, and multicast/unicast distribution; knowledge of streaming protocols and remote production tech (RTMP, SRT, NDI, SIP, WebRTC).
