Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, plan and coordinate the day-to-day operations of Hamersley Station, including supervision and development of station employees.
  • •Plan and execute mustering, processing and livestock movements and sales, while overseeing herd health and animal welfare.
  • •Manage grazing and stocking decisions based on seasonal conditions, feed, water and land capability.
  • •Maintain a strong safety culture by identifying and managing risks and encouraging people to speak up.
  • •Coordinate contractors and manage station budgets, maintenance and capital works across water infrastructure, fencing, yards, plant, vehicles and equipment.

  • •Sound judgement to plan, prioritize and make practical decisions in a remote operating environment.
  • •Hold or be able to obtain HR or MC license and WA firearms license.
