Job Summary

Manage advanced network monitoring and incident response, leading analysis and resolution of cross-system network issues in RTX’s NOC. Improve operational processes and support small NOC projects while collaborating with network engineering, security, service desk, and operations. Maintain current knowledge of network tools and standard operating procedures, follow escalation paths and SLAs, and support 24/7 operations with potential nights/weekends and on-call rotations.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead monitoring, analysis, and resolution of advanced or cross-system network issues.
•Manage and improve NOC operational processes and small projects.
•Collaborate with network engineering, security, service desk, and operations teams.
•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of network technologies, tools, and standard operating procedures.
•Support 24/7 operations, including potential nights/weekends/holidays and on-call rotations, and develop enhancements to tools/processes to improve service performance.

Key Requirements

•University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
•3+ years of experience with network infrastructure, routing/switching, security tools, and monitoring systems.
•Experience leading small projects or initiatives.
•Follow established escalation paths and adhere to service-level agreements (SLAs).
•Current working knowledge of network technologies, tools, and standard operating procedures.
