Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate, administer, and develop storage infrastructure (NetApp ONTAP/Clustered ONTAP, Ceph clusters, and object storage such as S3-compatible solutions).
  • •Analyze, classify, and resolve system disruptions and performance issues to ensure high availability, data security, and compliance.
  • •Optimize and automate existing technologies and processes using tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash.
  • •Serve as a technical point of contact for internal specialist departments and national/international customers in the service area.
  • •Develop storage concepts and technologies from idea through successful implementation, including capacity planning and performance analysis/optimization.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience administering IT system landscapes, ideally with a focus on storage systems (file, block, object).
  • •Completed IT training/education (IT apprenticeship, IT degree, or comparable qualification).
  • •Scripting experience, ideally with Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  • •Fluent communication in German and English, written and spoken.
  • •Availability for shifts and a self-driven, team-oriented analytical working style.
