Job Summary

Lead and scale Wise's Treasury Markets function in the US, overseeing FX risk management, hedging and liquidity funding. In a hybrid onsite role in Austin, you will manage day-to-day hedging across Spot, Forwards and NDFs, collaborate with Treasury Data Analysts, optimize funding with regional banks, mentor a small team, and partner across North America and LATAM to expand markets.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead day-to-day FX hedging and liquidity management activities across FX products (Spot, Forwards, NDFs) in the US timezone.
•Collaborate with Treasury Data Analysts & Scientists to assess risk around market events and product launches; drive automation of risk management and funding strategies.
•Manage relationships with banks and counterparties across US and LatAm regions to negotiate price and optimize broader relationships.
•Partner with Treasury Liquidity Operations & Regional Banking to optimize funding and reduce costs in the US time zone.
•Mentor and lead a small team within Treasury Markets and contribute to expanding into new markets and products.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 180,000 - 250,000 annually

Key Requirements

•8+ years FX or short term interest rates trading experience across a variety of markets with a focus on Latam/Emerging Market currencies.
•2+ years of experience managing a team as this role offers managerial responsibilities in charge of a small growing risk management team.
•Using your risk management and execution experience, you will help us manage group wide FX risks and manage liquidity trades to ensure we have money where our customers need it.
•As part of a Global Team, manage the day-to-day FX Trading hedging activities during the US timezone. This will include managing our hedging strategies across FX products Spot, Forwards & NDFs in the US timezone.
•Build and deliver analysis and reporting on dealing activities with monthly improvements as the role evolves.
