Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage the Asset Accounting team’s performance and results, including supervision of accounting/finance professionals.
  • •Oversee accounting transactions and ensure integrity of internal controls and accounting records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • •Review and approve journal entries and reconcile ledger accounts and financial statements supporting SEC and FERC filings.
  • •Plan, align, review, and supervise accounting research and interpretation of capital policy, including ratemaking activities and related filings.
  • •Monitor and manage expenditures, assess budget/expenditure variances, and provide analysis to support forecasting and budgeting decision-making.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • •8+ years in a related field.
  • •Advanced knowledge of accounting principles including GAAP and regulatory accounting.
  • •Advanced knowledge of internal controls, including SOX requirements.
  • •CPA preferred for certain roles.
