Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, set up, and perform assembly, disassembly, balance, test, modification, and repair of product.
  • •Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform quality control tests including hardness tests, micros analysis, calibration, and dimensional/visual inspections.
  • •Recommend and implement process/workflow improvements and participate in preparing or modifying work instructions.
  • •Schedule and prioritize production/development/job order/maintenance work; select and modify simple tooling/equipment for new requirements.
  • •Review non-conforming product, determine material disposition, recommend corrective action, document causes/corrections, and maintain clean/organized work areas.

Key Requirements

  • •U.S. citizenship required (only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract).
  • •Knowledge of assembly and test using drawings/specifications, shop mathematics/formulas, and measuring instruments/equipment.
  • •Equivalent of four years of technical high school training with specialization in the field.
