Key Responsibilities

  • •Arrange docking platforms, stands, and access equipment to support aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification activities.
  • •Carry out daily inspections of docking equipment for operational reliability and safety, completing inspection sheets for supervisor approval.
  • •Safely deploy, adjust, and remove docking equipment in line with procedures, standards, and manufacturers’ guidelines.
  • •Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, fault finding, repair, and upgrades for docking equipment to maintain safe, reliable operation.
  • •Train and develop technicians (including junior technicians) on docking operations, maintenance, fault finding, and safety procedures, and maintain accurate shift records.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years experience in engineering/mechanical.
  • •Experience working in a large operational industrial environment, preferably aviation.
  • •12 years schooling or equivalent, plus a diploma in a related engineering field.
  • •Ability to read, write, and communicate proficiently in English.
  • •Driver’s licence would be an asset.
