Job Summary

Drive soft-goods product development from concept through production readiness, partnering with Industrial Design, Soft Goods Material, Category Management, and factory teams. Own the project process by aligning timelines, troubleshoot design/material/trim details, and deliver technical drawing packages (tech packs/sample requests). Coordinate sampling and DFM optimization with factories, support quality standards, and manage finished-goods testing to qualify designs for production release.

Key Responsibilities

•Work closely with Design and Category Management to understand product vision and direction.
•Advance products from prototype stages to mass production with internal teams and external manufacturing partners.
•Partner with Project Managers on timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
•Troubleshoot design, material, and trim details; deliver technical drawing packages to manufacturing partners.
•Coordinate sampling with factory partners, support product quality standards, and manage finished-goods testing for production release.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in product development, preferably in accessories, bags, or apparel.
•Experience with RF Welded construction and insulated soft goods.
•Experience working with soft goods vendors to bring products from sampling to commercial new products.
•Proficiency building soft goods drawing packages such as tech packs and sample requests.
•Experience using structured product development systems (phase gate and PLM is a benefit).
