Job Summary

Support the full contract lifecycle by drafting, reviewing, analyzing, negotiating, and managing agreements (including NDAs, MSAs, and SOWs) to reduce contractual and financial risk. Partner with trading, legal, procurement, finance, and risk stakeholders to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies. For Senior/Principal levels, lead risk definitions, contract risk assessments, mitigation strategies, controls (including SOX-related workflows), and reporting for regulatory and audit reviews.

Key Responsibilities

•Draft, review, analyze, negotiate, and manage contracts to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and business objectives.
•Identify unfavorable or non-standard contract terms and explain clause interactions and downstream impacts to stakeholders.
•Support regulatory, audit, and risk management reviews, and monitor changes in contract-related policies or standards.
•Design and implement controls for contract accuracy and settlement alignment; support SOX controls including contract review, approval workflows, and documentation.
•For the Principal level, lead organization-wide contract risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and provide oversight/leadership to the contract negotiation process.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/economics/legal studies or other related field, or equivalent experience.
•For P3: typically 5+ years in a related field.
•For P4: typically 8+ years in a related field.
•Advanced knowledge of risk management concepts including disputes and litigation, non-compliant data privacy clauses, missing governing law/jurisdiction, poorly defined SLAs, and invalid limitation of liability.
•Advanced financial modeling skills and experience using Microsoft Excel.
