Key Responsibilities

  • •Take full ownership of a MarTech service, including architecture, pipeline quality, and independent development.
  • •Bring integrations with advertising networks (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.) up to standard with retries, error handling, and monitoring.
  • •Develop LLM pipelines in production using Vertex/Gemini for creative analysis and image/video generation.
  • •Migrate marketing logic from Airtable to data-controlled systems.
  • •Raise engineering standards across the team with reviews, integration standards, and zone monitoring.

Key Requirements

  • •Backend production-level experience with Node.js/TypeScript and 5+ years of commercial experience.
  • •Experience building internal interfaces with React/Next.js (10–20% of the time).
  • •Ability to design services/modules from scratch for live traffic, including data modeling, idempotency, queues, webhooks, and state reconciliation.
  • •Proven experience integrating with external APIs with limits, retries, error handling, and monitoring.
  • •Comfort working through legacy code (refactor gradually) and communicating in business terms.
