Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed structural analyses and design per design basis, specifications, codes, and standards.
  • •Prepare detailed design calculations, analyses, and design reports/procedures to ensure clear and accurate outputs.
  • •As Lead Engineer, direct discipline engineering design, manage scope/deliverables/schedule/manpower, and ensure interfaces and productivity.
  • •Act as project representative for the discipline in meetings and communicate complex concepts to persuade alignment on technical approaches.
  • •Train/mentor engineers and designers; supervise engineering checks, verifications, and structural work products (e.g., MTOs, specifications, subcontracts, vendor data review, bid evaluations).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering.
  • •15-20 years of experience in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultants performing detail design.
  • •Preferably Registered Professional Engineer or member of a professional engineering society (as applicable).
  • •Seasoned structural knowledge with detailed understanding of design techniques, analysis methods, and relevant standards, codes, and guidelines.
  • •Fluent in English (oral and written) and able to solve problems without assistance.
