Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and manage mechanical or electrical commodity subcategories to execute supplier production (NPI to full production) strategies.
  • •Vet suppliers’ production capabilities, factory layout, facilities, and workforce for inclusion in the Approved Supplier List.
  • •Own manufacturing process development at supplier locations, including initialization of new production lines and tooling.
  • •Own the roadmap for supplier capacity expansion, manufacturing readiness, and production ramp-up.
  • •Establish supplier performance through statistical process control (SPC) reviews and drive continuous improvements (cost, supply risk, defects, and cycle time).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •10+ years of experience in supplier quality and industrialization within a manufacturing environment.
  • •Experience with category technical expertise such as composites and thermoplastics manufacturing, IPC standards, CAD, and GD&T.
  • •Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
  • •Ability to relocate to be onsite in Huntsville, AL; eligible and able to maintain a U.S. clearance.
