Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership and expertise for a growing ground engineering practice and client services.
  • •Develop and pursue business opportunities, including planning, proposals, scopes, timelines, pricing, and budgetary metrics.
  • •Lead senior-level technical work using advanced geotechnical engineering knowledge across site exploration, design, permitting, instrumentation, and earthquake engineering.
  • •Manage project execution: project budgets and schedules, technical quality, contract negotiation, presentations/meetings, and supervision of subcontractors.
  • •Mentor staff, provide performance guidance, and perform periodic construction observations/site visits to ensure compliance with design requirements and regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering with a geotechnical focus, or a closely related discipline.
  • •12+ years of relevant post-education experience.
  • •Professional engineering license in Georgia, or ability to become licensed in Georgia within six months.
  • •Advanced proficiency in geotechnical engineering principles, practices, and design/engineering applications across the project lifecycle.
  • •Strong ability to lead, independently guide others, and produce complex technical deliverables and critical reviews while adhering to QA/QC.
