Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide overall leadership of the GIS team, setting direction and ensuring capacity aligns with project needs.
  • •Lead the GIS element on major projects (DCOs and EIAs) in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • •Drive digital transformation through innovative, client-focused geospatial solutions across Water, Energy, Earth, and Environment.
  • •Manage programmes and resources to deliver projects to standards, scope and budget.
  • •Support business development by understanding client needs and developing proposals and bids.

Key Requirements

  • •In-depth understanding of GIS principles and geospatial data management across diverse sectors.
  • •Proven experience designing and deploying Esri Enterprise solutions (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online) and configuring related web applications (Experience Builder, Dashboards, 3D, Survey123, Field Maps).
  • •Strong programming experience in geospatial contexts (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL, R/Shiny) and use of Esri APIs; proficient in Microsoft Azure for cloud-based geospatial solutions.
  • •Ability to develop GIS inputs for bids and proposals, including cost estimates and fee breakdowns, translating complex geospatial concepts into compelling content.
  • •Experience leading and mentoring a technical GIS team, delivering high-quality services, and contributing to business development through proposals and client engagement.
