Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with clients and Avanade leaders to understand priorities and translate them into practical AI-enabled solution concepts.
  • •Bridge strategy and execution by converting business cases and transformation roadmaps into production-ready solution architectures and delivery plans.
  • •Own and evolve the engineering standard for the FDE track, including testing, evaluation, production readiness, and operational support requirements.
  • •Define reference architectures and decision frameworks for choosing combinations of Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Avanade Agentic Platform, and Microsoft capabilities.
  • •Deploy personally to the most complex, strategic, at-risk mandates and develop the FDE career pathway and re-skilling enablement model.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in software or AI engineering with senior/lead accountability for production systems and ongoing maintenance.
  • •Hands-on agentic engineering capability across orchestration, retrieval, tool use, evaluation, observability, and failure handling.
  • •Strong command of the Microsoft AI stack (or equivalent depth on another stack with credible transfer).
  • •Experience setting engineering standards that teams consistently adopt, including when initial alignment was low.
  • •Experience assessing and hiring engineers at volume and at pace with a defensible bar.
