Key Responsibilities

  • •Facilitate daily mine plan execution by monitoring and adjusting dispatch optimization algorithms and performing manual interventions as needed.
  • •Issue clear work instructions to Load and Haul operators and provide process advice to line leaders for sustainable improvements.
  • •Ensure material movement priorities are executed according to the Mine Engineering Daily Plan.
  • •Maintain mine model parameters (roads, dumps, maps) to keep the dispatch system operating accurately.
  • •Receive emergency calls and follow the Gahcho Kué Mining Emergency management plan, including hazard monitoring and reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Grade 12 academic completion.
  • •2+ years’ experience working in a mining environment.
  • •Previous experience running/using a Fleet Management System (e.g., MineStar, Modular Dispatch, HPGPS).
  • •Experience with multiple shovel/drill/truck/track operations.
  • •Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with strong safety commitment.
