Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform reservoir evaluation including analysis of sub-surface formations for oil recovery performance, fluid flow, and decline curve analysis.
  • •Support production geology with field studies, reservoir maps, cross-sections, and correlation of well logs.
  • •Provide onsite production operations support, including horizontal drilling program analysis, facility design limitations, and evaluation of workover/recompletion/stimulation candidates.
  • •Deliver plant operations and project support through process modeling/analysis, troubleshooting, identifying safety/environmental concerns, developing solutions, and cost estimates/tracking.
  • •Support facilities engineering such as piping/infrastructure modeling, on-site crew supervision, design calculations for equipment/safety systems, and drawing/documentation and AFE preparation.

Key Requirements

  • •Pursuing a PhD in petroleum, mechanical, or chemical engineering.
  • •Self starter with strong drive for results and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • •Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • •Strong analytical skills and good computer skills.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to work with a team, take direction, keep schedules, and follow work rules.
