Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform mechanical design, development, and documentation of components and sub-assemblies for tactical missile systems in accordance with system requirements.
  • •Lead mechanical engineering teams and collaborate across disciplines including structural/thermal analysis, Materials, Quality, Safety, Supply Chain, Operations, and program leadership.
  • •Support factory and suppliers with product development, obsolescence management, and troubleshooting domestically and internationally.
  • •Interface with other engineering disciplines, non-technical disciplines, and suppliers to develop design solutions and resolve technical challenges.
  • •Participate in design peer reviews, conduct trade studies, and ensure the timely completion of technical goals.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of eight years of relevant experience (advanced degree may substitute).
  • •Technical leadership across the development lifecycle and experience leading trade studies, design, requirements management, and integration/test of mechanical engineering products.
  • •Experience working across multiple functional/disciplined organizations to resolve technical challenges and develop mechanical data packages.
  • •Proficiency with ANSI/ASME Y14.5 GD&T and ability to interpret technical documentation in production environments.
  • •U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance (Secret); interim clearance ability required.
