Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with deep learning engineering teams to ensure software products and development processes meet automotive safety standards.
  • •Promote safety culture and guide development teams to implement ISO 26262.
  • •Influence next-generation software and hardware architecture from a safety perspective.
  • •Drive engineering activities across project phases (concept, design, development, validation) according to ISO 26262.
  • •Support internal and external ISO 26262 process/product audits.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in EE/CS (or related) or equivalent experience, with 8+ years of software engineering experience in C/C++.
  • •Knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety methodology and standards.
  • •Experience defining process for quality and safety conformance for mission-critical applications, including ISO process standards, audit expectations, and documentation.
  • •Significant experience supporting internal/external ISO 26262 process and product audits.
  • •Knowledge of Automotive SPICE and/or experience with requirements management, FMEA, and FTA (or similar).
