Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage delivery of environmental inputs into aviation projects, including planning applications, EIA, airspace change proposals, and support for DCO examinations and/or planning inquiries.
  • •Undertake EIA screening, scoping, and delivery of environmental constraints studies, environmental management plans, and Environmental Statements.
  • •Coordinate environmental surveys required to support EIA for aviation schemes, including associated Health and Safety requirements.
  • •Take responsibility for project management activities tied to bidding, project delivery, financial management, and project team management.
  • •Secure new work through proposal preparation, contributions to strategic-bid preparation, and participation in business development opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •A relevant environmental degree level qualification in EIA, or similar.
  • •Achieved or working towards Practitioner/Chartered Environmental Status and Full membership of IEMA, or similar qualification with a relevant professional body.
  • •Demonstratable experience undertaking EIA for aviation schemes with limited supervision under UK planning regimes (including the Town and Country Planning Act and the Planning Act 2008).
  • •Ability to coordinate tasks across technical teams, external clients, stakeholders, and partner organisations, delivering on time and within budget in compliance with business management procedures.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing/review capability, attention to detail, and quality assurance focus.
