Key Responsibilities

  • •Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • •Develop and present cost plans and cost estimate updates, reconciling changes and validating contractor data.
  • •Coordinate cost information across sources (e.g., NPA, subcontractors, quantities) for cost discussions, suppliers, and engineering priorities.
  • •Manage cost checks, valuations, post-contract variances, change control processes, and contingency management/commitment tracking.
  • •Prepare monthly cost reports, support value engineering sessions and funding data presentations, and help negotiate timely final accounts; mentor talent.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 5–7 years of cost management experience in the construction industry.
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium to large construction projects of medium to high complexity.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it is preferred.
  • •Good knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering, with excellent communication skills.
