Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the technical delivery of water supply network planning and hydraulic modelling, including hydraulic calculations, analysis, and report/document preparation.
  • •Demonstrate best practice for model build, calibration, and system performance assessment (e.g., leakage/demand, pressure management, infrastructure and growth planning).
  • •Use Infoworks WS Pro tools to investigate complex water network operational scenarios and apply models to support zone management, water supply, and demand management planning.
  • •Ensure verification, technical reviews, and timely, cost-effective quality processes across inputs/outputs (including GIS, SCADA, field data, and growth projections).
  • •Support, coach, and mentor modelling professionals; manage technical risks; and communicate risks, limitations, and issues to project teams and clients.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering followed by a Masters in Water Resource Engineering or Environmental Engineering or similar.
  • •Professional Registration (Chartered Engineer status or equivalent).
  • •Minimum of 8 years’ experience post qualification in water supply network planning, engineering and hydraulic modelling.
  • •Demonstrable experience developing SQL or other user-script applications for Infoworks WS Pro.
  • •Fluent English with the ability to communicate complex technical information to a wide range of audiences.
