Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely and efficiently collect samples from asphalt, concrete, and aggregate plants and various job sites.
  • •Set up, operate, and maintain nuclear density gauges for asphalt and soils compaction.
  • •Perform field tests for density or other properties and promptly report non-compliant tests to the project superintendent.
  • •Process samples using testing equipment and procedures, recording data and entering information into computer systems.
  • •Maintain cleanliness and safety through general clean-up and maintenance duties, communicating with plant staff and supervisors.
