Job Summary

Lead instrumentation and controls engineering work for conceptual, FEED, and detailed design phases. Apply deep expertise to solve complex, nonstandard I&C problems, prepare detailed calculations and design reports, and ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and MDR procedures. Coordinate across disciplines and vendors, manage interfaces to produce clash-free designs, support bids and technical queries, and—when acting as Lead Engineer—direct engineering teams, forecast resources, and represent the discipline in customer and audit settings.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed analyses and design per design basis, project specifications, codes, and standards.
•Prepare detailed design calculations and analyses, including design reports and procedures.
•Manage own time and, as Lead Engineer, forecast and plan resource requirements; direct engineering teams and discipline execution (scope, deliverables, schedule, manpower).
•Coordinate interfaces and ensure deliverables are identified; interface with other disciplines to develop clash-free designs and obtain input for designs and drawings.
•Prepare/review bid estimates and technical documentation (queries, design basis/philosophies/specifications, vendor submittals, design verification) and provide project support including construction/commissioning and audit participation.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, or Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred).
•15-20 years of experience in oil and gas with major contractors or consultants performing detail design.
•Preferably Registered Professional Engineer or member of a professional engineering society.
•Detailed knowledge of design techniques and analysis methods, plus the theory and application of standards, codes, and guidelines.
•Knowledgeable in project coordination and execution skills.
