Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate, select, and order diffusion equipment that is appropriate and cost effective for manufacturing company products.
  • •Oversee installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • •Monitor equipment performance and reliability, and develop solutions to increase uptime and resolve equipment problems affecting manufacturing.
  • •Provide technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.
  • •Define and write preventative maintenance schedules.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering degree.
  • •3 years of experience as an Equipment Engineer within Semiconductor for diffusion, thermal processing, or RTP.
  • •Equipment experience with Tokyo Electron (TEL) furnaces, ASM furnaces, and Applied Materials (AMAT) Vantage or Centura platforms.
  • •Experience with high vacuum and/or ultra high vacuum systems and/or other diffusion or thermal processing fab equipment.
  • •Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and SPC techniques, including cleanroom protocol behaviors.
