Key Responsibilities

  • •Define multi-quarter technical roadmaps for Post-Booking domains and drive scalable architecture, APIs, and data models while addressing tech debt.
  • •Lead complex, cross-team technical initiatives and translate high-stakes, ambiguous business goals into technical strategies, designs, and experiments.
  • •Champion high-quality testing and AI practices, mentor engineers, and produce durable technical documentation.
  • •Lead adoption of Spec-Driven Development (SDD) using advanced AI tools to produce robust Node.js implementations and comprehensive tests.
  • •Build AI-driven enhancements and perform critical replatforming work to modernize the microservice infrastructure.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of professional software engineering with both frontend and backend experience and demonstrated impact across complex domains.
  • •Extensive experience with Node.js and microservice architecture; familiarity with Ruby on Rails is a plus.
  • •Strong SQL and data modeling skills for financial use cases using Postgres and Snowflake.
  • •Hands-on experience with async/event-driven systems and microservices (Kafka).
  • •Track record designing and owning observability/alerting and scaling distributed systems, with strong communication and ownership.
