Job Summary

Perform core logistics tasks for receiving, storing, issuing, inventory, mail, and delivery. Load and unload materials and property between trucks/vehicles and plant/warehouse or offsite locations using powered industrial vehicles and other equipment. Open, sort, label, package, cushion, and crate items for storage and shipment; validate quantities and IDs against documentation and systems; update logs and records. May support functional or cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Load, unload, and move materials, property, and misc. items on and off trucks/vehicles between plant, warehouses, and offsite locations.
•Open and sort containers and materials (including mail) based on established priorities.
•Validate material/property IDs and quantities against documentation and systems information throughout the process.
•Perform packing, cushioning, crating, labeling, and shipment-preparation tasks using required tools and equipment.
•Record and update internal/external logs, forms, and transactional system records; may participate as a member or leader of teams.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED.
•Experience in logistics functions such as receiving, storing, issuing, inventory, delivery, packing, and/or shipping.
•2 years of experience operating lift trucks (forklifts) or completion of forklift certification.
•Experience reading, writing, and comprehending written or verbal instructions.
•Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
