Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate upstream investment opportunities, including exploration acreage, appraisal assets, development projects, and producing fields, and perform rapid reservoir engineering screening for acquisition targets and farm-ins.
  • •Assess reservoir properties and analyze well performance, production history, and pressure data to evaluate reservoir performance and identify uncertainties impacting recovery and planning.
  • •Support resources and reserves estimation using material balance, decline curve, and forecasting methods, including probabilistic assessments of uncertainty and recovery potential.
  • •Provide reservoir engineering input into field development evaluation, including well spacing, production strategies, recovery mechanisms, scenario assessment, and project economics.
  • •Participate in technical due diligence and portfolio support by reviewing reservoir models and production forecasts, identifying technical risks and value opportunities, and preparing materials for investment committees.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 10 years of upstream oil and gas industry experience across international assets, countries, basins, and operating environments.
  • •Expert-level reservoir engineering knowledge, including how reservoir performance drives asset and business value.
  • •Comprehensive understanding of resource and reserves estimation methodologies, probabilistic assessment, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • •Advanced knowledge of field development concepts, well spacing, recovery mechanisms, and production optimization including enhanced recovery and infill drilling.
  • •Bachelor’s degree, with a Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
