Job Summary

Apply industrial engineering techniques to optimize production system design, operational efficiency, and after-market services for propulsion nacelle structures. Support plant and equipment layouts, capacity planning, work flow design, and production system optimization while working closely with mechanics and engineers on the factory floor. Assist with process and tool improvements to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, improve quality, and support execution planning through scheduling and shop load practices.

•Apply industrial engineering concepts to product, process, and services to meet program requirements.
•Develop and maintain plant/equipment layouts, capacity plans, accident prevention measures, and sequencing of operations and work flows.
•Evaluate and integrate new techniques and technologies into production and service operations.
•Design, maintain, and optimize production systems by integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel.
•Prepare operations plans (budgeting/forecasts, capacity and constraint analysis) and support execution planning via project management, planning/scheduling, and shop load practices.

•Experience with scheduling in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and data tools such as SQL/Excel is preferred.
