Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end avionics systems and subsystems development from design through integration, testing, and validation.
  • •Design and troubleshoot electrical systems and mixed-signal PCBs, including grounding approaches, board protections, filtering, and impedance matching.
  • •Conduct power system and electrical loading analysis, simulation, and testing to determine optimal solutions.
  • •Perform lab testing and validation using benchtop power supplies, electronics loads, oscilloscopes, DMMs, logic/spectrum analyzers, and related test chambers.
  • •Develop and integrate electrical interconnect and cable harnessing designs using proper wire and connector selection, based on low/high-voltage power and control system requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with 3+ years designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex system designs.
  • •Ability to perform power system and electrical loading analysis, simulation, and testing to determine optimal solutions.
  • •Strong hands-on lab testing skills using equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, electronic loads, and with familiarity of thermal and EMI test chambers.
  • •Familiarity with electrical bus interfaces including CAN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, RS232/422, RS485, and USB.
  • •Experience with power design/power management and hands-on microcontroller bring-up and design work.
