Key Responsibilities

  • •Work across multiple sustaining engineering programs/projects to meet business goals and Profit Plan objectives.
  • •Own end-to-end sustaining engineering deliverables from conceptualization and detailing through design validation and testing.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams to make engineering decisions for successful execution.
  • •Create and release system/sub-system/component designs independently or through engineering teams, including CAD drawings, 3D models, assemblies, and PLM/ERP release.
  • •Contribute to test plans per IEC/UL standards, define test requirements/instrumentation, conduct tests using standard practices, and create IP documents for new product design concepts.

Key Requirements

  • •BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • •0–2 years of experience.
  • •Strong product design knowledge for mechanical products (e.g., sheet metal, cast/machined, plastic) and relevant design practices/standards.
  • •Proficiency in part detailing, 2D drawings and tolerance, 3D modeling/assemblies, prototyping and validation.
  • •Working knowledge of GD&T and engineering change management; exposure to DFMEA/DFMA and CAD tools such as SolidWorks or CREO (SAP/ENOVIA is a plus).
