Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and accruals.
  • •Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigating significant fluctuations and resolving issues.
  • •Reconcile sub-ledgers with the general ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness; maintain transaction classification and chart of accounts.
  • •Document accounting policies and implement financial control procedures to ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
  • •Identify opportunities for process automation and collaborate with teams to address transaction recording and reconciliation inefficiencies.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in accounting, financial control, or related fields.
  • •ACCA, CA, or equivalent certificate.
  • •Proficiency in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • •Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (IFRS).
  • •Advanced Excel skills and experience with reconciliation and chart of accounts maintenance.
