Job Summary

Manage and deliver water capital investment projects for the Environment Agency’s FRAM programme, supporting or leading project teams across option studies, procurement and tender support, and NEC contract administration through to site delivery and commissioning. Work in a hybrid environment across North, Midlands and Scotland Region offices, coordinating stakeholders, schedule, risk, quality, and contract outputs while supporting procurement strategies and mentoring early-career talent.

Key Responsibilities

•Support or lead the delivery of water projects across the full lifecycle, from inception and design through procurement and site commissioning.
•Provide client-side project management support for option studies, option development, construction tender support, and NEC contract administration.
•Coordinate meetings and contribute to project plans, progress reports, procurement strategies, and tender documentation.
•Manage stakeholder engagement and ensure delivery within agreed scope, cost, time, and quality parameters while resolving disputes where possible.
•Support project team resourcing and mentor Graduates and Apprentices, while contributing to business development with existing and new clients.

Key Requirements

•Infrastructure project management experience with essential water industry experience.
•Knowledge of NEC suite of contracts, particularly NEC PSC and NEC ECC (ideally working towards NEC ECC Accreditation).
•2 to 4 years of proven consulting experience delivering full-spectrum PM services such as meeting minuting, PEP development, progress reports, and tender documentation.
•Relevant degree in project management, engineering, environmental science, construction, or a related subject.
•A project management qualification such as APM PMQ or PRINCE2 would be desirable (associate member of APM/CIOB desirable).
