Key Responsibilities

  • •Support implementation of Wood environmental strategy and HSSE policy obligations across the project site.
  • •Manage environmental risk and opportunities, helping ensure the site maintains environmental licence to operate and client environmental credentials.
  • •Facilitate implementation of Wood environmental standards and provide technical support for the environmental plan and HSSE obligations.
  • •Assist with identification of legal/industrial/contractual environmental obligations and provide training on key environmental risks.
  • •Support environmental inspections and audits, investigate environmental incidents, and monitor environmental KPIs while communicating trends and issues.

Key Requirements

  • •First and higher degree in an environmental-related discipline (desirable).
  • •Minimum 7 years of experience in process engineering design within petrochemical, refinery, and oil & gas sectors.
  • •Good understanding of EIA, HIA, and sustainability.
  • •Professional membership in an environmental body (desirable).
  • •Strong skills coordinating with internal and external stakeholders; excellent communication and leadership skills.
